My family

Hello, my name is Jennie Wright and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder.  I can currently offer full and part time places for childcare.

I am married to Andrew who works for Sealord Caistor Ltd as a Quality Assurance Manager. We have two children Joshua and Abigail, both attend Caistor Primary school. We enjoy going out to swimming, ice skating, picnics, long days out and chilling out in the garden with the paddling pool. We have three cats Mitzey, Lucy and Tinker bell.

I have been a childminder since May 2003. During that time I have cared for children between the ages of 4 weeks and twelve years old. Previously I have worked with children (and adults) with disabilities and / or special educational needs in care homes and found that time very rewarding. I am very interested in pursuing opportunities for caring for such children within the field of childminding. 

I have recently completed a Diploma in Home Based Child care graded A, First Aid, Food Hygiene, level one in child protection,  team teach, Family nurturing course, a music workshop, promoting healthy eating and a multicultural cooking course, which I found very interesting. I am planning on doing more courses in the future.

 I offer a wide range of activities for children of all ages within my services, from indoor such as, painting, drawing, colouring, arts and crafts, train tracks and chilling out with a DVD's, outside activities such as outdoor play equipment, water table and plan outings to local attractions such as Rand Farm, Normandy hall, Willingham woods, to Fun Forest, and Wacky Warehouse.
